The Smart A is Woodpecker's most advanced endodontic motor. It connects via Bluetooth to the free multi-user WEndo® App (iOS and Android), which lets you create and run personalised treatment plans for each patient and store session history in the cloud.
"Vivi" voice control lets you start, stop and navigate through programmes without touching the handpiece or foot pedal, maintaining asepsis at all times. Magnetic charging and docking on the base eliminates physical connectors and ensures safe recharging. With 2 x 2,000 mAh batteries (one in the handpiece and one in the base), the motor is always ready to work.
Advanced motion modes
Continuous rotation, reciprocating, BB and LB: full compatibility with file systems
The Smart A features every motion mode that modern endodontics demands. In reciprocating mode, the angle is adjustable from 5° to 400° in 5° increments, covering everything from single-file techniques to multi-file systems. The brushless motor offers 10 times the service life of a brushed motor, with speeds of up to 2,500 rpm and torque adjustable from 0.4 to 5.0 Ncm.

Automatic power regulation, independent reservoir and full compatibility with Satelec tips
The D600 features an automatic power management system that detects the tooth surface the tip is working on and adjusts the intensity in real time, avoiding initial contact surges thanks to sine wave technology. The result is a gentler, more effective and pain-free treatment for the patient.
The integrated LED light in the HD-8H handpiece (detachable and sterilisable at 135 °C) improves visibility in subgingival areas and root canals. The ultra-sensitive touch panel —operable even with wet gloves— lets you choose from dedicated prophylaxis, periodontics, endodontics and implantology programmes. The 640 ml water reservoir makes the unit fully portable; it can also be connected to the mains water supply and used with solutions such as chlorhexidine, peroxides or sodium hypochlorite. Fully compatible with Satelec/EMS tips.

Fi-E + Fi-P 3D Gutta-Percha Obturation System
Cordless 3D obturation
Fi-P for vertical condensation and Fi-E for backfilling: complete cordless obturation
The system combines two cordless handpieces designed to cover the entire obturation process. The Fi-P (vertical condensation) reaches working temperature in 0.2 seconds, with 4 preset temperatures (150 °C, 180 °C, 200 °C and 230 °C) and a 0.35 mm pre-curved tip to reach narrow canals. Compatible with 9 tip models and suitable for all brands of gutta-percha.
The Fi-E (backfilling) injects thermoplasticised gutta-percha through a 0.5 mm needle with 360° rotation, adapting to any angle. It offers 5 preset temperatures (100–200 °C) and a light indicator showing the amount of material remaining. Both handpieces feature a reversible display (suitable for right- and left-handed users), 4 hours of battery life (≈1,500 operations) and a separate charging base.
